Twelve answers, including the unhelpful ones
Where does the money go?
The company that operates your trip. It invoices you under its own name and its own terms after you have agreed to them in writing. This office takes no payment at any point and holds no card details of yours.
What is this office paid, then?
A commission from the operating company, out of its own margin, after you have travelled. Nothing is added to the operator's figure to cover it.
Does the figure include getting there?
No. Every figure on this desk covers ground arrangements in the country. Flights and sea crossings are somebody else's business, and this office holds a contract with no carrier at all.
Can you sort out a visa or tell me what I need at the border?
No, and this is a firm no rather than a modest one. Entry requirements are a matter for the relevant authority, they change, and an office guessing at them would be doing real harm. Ask the authority for the country you are going to.
Will you sell me travel insurance?
No. This office does not sell insurance of any kind and will not recommend a policy or a provider. Arrange cover independently and read what it excludes.
Why is everything sorted by price?
Because the figure is the fact most people arrive with. Sorting by country asks you to name a place before you know what a place costs.
Which trip on my rung should I take?
That is not a question this office answers. The four departures on a rung cost the same and are otherwise unalike, and ranking them would mean pretending the desk knows what you want from a fortnight. It will tell you what each involves and leave the choice with you.
What does the mark next to each price mean?
It is two squares, and how far they overlap says what share of the figure the operating company wants when the reservation is made: apart is a tenth, almost on top of one another is the whole of it.
Are the dates fixed?
Yes. Every departure carries real dates rather than a rolling window, and those dates are on its own page.
How long until somebody answers?
Something written gets an answer before the next business day is out. Putting a figure on particular nights adds another two to four working days, because the operating company has to look at your dates before any number comes back.
Is anything sent unbidden?
No. This office answers what reaches it and starts nothing of its own, by voice or by message. There is no marketing list attached to this site.
Do you publish reviews or ratings?
No. There are no reviews, stars, awards or rankings anywhere on this site, and there will not be any that were not genuinely earned and genuinely given.
Something not covered
Write in and ask. If the answer is that this office does not do the thing, you will be told that plainly rather than steered.
Start from the figure you actually have
Requests are taken every hour of every day. A person reads what this collects and writes back inside one business day. Money never changes hands here, and this office holds no card details of yours at any stage.
